Duties & Responsibilities:

 Role Summary:

We are seeking for a Telecom or power Engineer to oversee the rollout and activation of Ooredoo’s cell sites in Westbank. Responsibilities include configuring RAN, TRM, and power equipment, managing telecom material logistics, coordinating with contractors and electricity companies. The role also involves supervising fiber optic implementations, installing and maintaining network infrastructure.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Follow up and Supervise Implementing of Ooredoo Cell Sites.

  • Configuring RAN, TRM, and power equipment, and make the cell sites ready for service activation.

  • Telecom material ordering and tracking in the warehouses and sites.

  • Following up with the Electricity Companies to get the permanent power connection for sites.

  • Follow up and Supervise Implementing fiber Optic lines and acceptance.

  • Installing and Fixing RF Antennas, MW Antennas, RRU’s, RBSs, and Ancillaries.

  • Install, Commission, Optimize, Repair, and maintain all network infrastructure equipment (Microwave, RBS, Power Systems, Cooling Systems, and in-building solutions).

  • Dealing with Contractors, and Companies to insure Ooredoo Specifications, and Standards.

  • Analyzing, classifying, Repairing, and solving Faults and alarms.

  • Using all testing and measuring tools.
Work Experience & Qualifications::

   

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecom, Electronic, Power engineering or any related field.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in related field (fresh graduate are welcome to apply).

  • Valid driving license and good driving record.

  • to be settled in the northern or middle of WestBank.

Personal Traits & Special Skills:
  • Good understanding of Telecom abbreviations and standards.
  • Ability to handle the tasks under work pressure.
  • Ability to work for long hours.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent Teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Excellent coordination and follow-up skills.
  • Computer Literacy knowledge (Microsoft) and AutoCAD is preferable.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written).
