The Purpose:

Plan and deliver high quality campaigns and promotions, above the line (ATL) and below the line (BTL), for Ooredoo that establish and reinforce the desired Ooredoo image and corporate culture. Manage entire advertising and communication to ensure all Ooredoo’s external communications and advertising meet commercial and corporate strategic objectives. Enhance competitive market performance within agreed deadlines, standards and budgets.

Key Accountabilties & Responsiblities:
  • Develop, plan and carry out marketing activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.

  • Assist Manager and participate for all design aspects of campaign layouts, Retail campaign information, dealer collaterals, promotional aids, print and audio-visual material, advertising displays, script editing and proofing bilingual wording of Ad’s, brochures/flyers, Web, user guides, Marketing messages in general. Ensuring consistency of approach and conformity with agreed corporate standards.

  • Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters, radios, SMS, website, e-shop, promotional material for dealer and sub-dealer channels and online digital channels.
  • Liaising and managing printers, suppliers and dealers for the timely delivery of  marketing material and ensuring quality control and budgets 
  • Create research into locations for all outside advertising locations. Ensure that those selected represent the optimum in terms of exposure and potential for creating business.
  • Provides manufacturer with design specifications, commissions work and ensures final product quality.
  • Create communication briefs with the approval of the Team Leader or Manager Advertising to agencies and/or vendors for creation of advertising and media campaigns.
  • Work closely with agencies with regard to the execution of briefed campaigns. Ensuring consistency of approach and conformity within approved corporate standards, allocated budgets and expected time periods.

  • Get buy-in for new and groundbreaking design and promotional concepts and for developing new avenues for promotion activity, delivery channels and suitable suppliers.

  • Liaise and attend meetings with other Ooredoo functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.

  • Ensure that upper management is informed on all critical issues pertaining to the area responsible for.

  • Provide and manage support on special projects as and when assigned by Team Leader and superiors.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including PR, Internal Comms, Products and Social Media Team in the creation of the annual communication roadmap considering business strategy and market changes.
  • Conduct research in liaison with the product team and agency to determine the target audience, local insights, market needs and best channels of communication
  • Develop the marketing roadmap that highlights deliverables, themes, topics, timing, and marketing channels to be used to promote the product/service/launch.
  • Brief the creative, digital and media agency about the exact requirements and positioning for the campaigns. Liaise and work closely in the development of campaigns & media mix based on the market strategy along with ambient ideas, guerilla marketing techniques, tone of voice and overall look and feel of the campaign.
  • Develop advertising campaigns, including TV ads, commercials, ads for radio, pay-per-click, banner, and other Internet ads.
  • Review and monitor the performance of each campaign consistently and provide regular updates to management
  • Optimized media spend by identifying the most effective communication channels for segments and contribute to sales
  • Developing affiliations & relations with phone manufacturers and service providers by liaising with them in creation of cobranded events, launches and promotions
  • Serve as the liaison between offline creative and digital teams to ensure accurate adaptations of various campaigns
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in search marketing and digital marketing
  • Proactively take responsibility for self improvement by staying well-informed of developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise.
  • Other duties as directed by supervisor or other superiors.


  • Bachelor degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Media, Advertising or related discipline and appropriate registration with a recognised professional institute

  • 3-4 Required years of relevant experience in advertising or promotions in the telecommunications sector; Well informed on the Kuwaiti advertising and media sector
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications like Excel, Word etc.
  • Excellent command of both written and verbal Arabic and English
  • Creative flair and excellent presentation skillsStrong Creative skills
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing / integrated campaign deployment
