The Role:
This role is responsible for leading the B2B related projects Operations & Services function for Business Customers managing the Service Assurance and Installation, ensuring excellent delivery of services and customer experience.
Key Accountabilities and Activities:
  • Responsible for the infrastructure availability
  • Responsible for the capacity planning and preparation for technology updates
  • Accountable to meet customers’ SLAs
  • Ensure that all new service offerings are tested successfully before market readiness
  • Interface with Technology/Security unit heads to ensure seamless service delivery when applicable
  • Own along with the Product team the Go/No Go decision for launching the services under the Data Center, SOC and Cloud Services portfolio
  • Responsible for the delivery of B2B related projects
  • Ensure that all the projects are running on the track and as planned
  • Ensure that projects are delivered within budget
  • Ensure effective resource planning
  • Ensure proper handover to Operations team is in place for better customer experience
  • First point of contact to escalate technical and operational requests
  • Responsible for new processes and procedures creations/ initiations
  • Maintain operational processes and procedures
  • Responsible for the capacity planning/forecast and control the B2B related projects budget
  • Responsible for placing POs with vendors
  • Pre-sales and Sales support (solutions design, BOQ, pricing, Business Cases, project management estimates)
  • Coordinate with Sales to align on updates on products & services and provide them with trainings if necessary
  • Schedule and manage the workload of the team and ensure optimum use of resources.
  • Proactively manage and motivate the team to be highly professional and results oriented.
  • Work to improve employee performance through personal coaching and identifying training and development needs.
  • Conduct annual performance appraisals (Performance Management System) and ensure objectives set are monitored and achieved.
  • Work with Legal and Regulatory team to meet regulatory requirements
  • Work with the Product team to develop pricing models, which will be in-line with revenue targets and regulatory requirements
  • Work with Hyperscalers on partnership models and introducing new services
  • Oversee new Data Center & Cloud services introduction/implementation
  • Supervise Data Center, SOC and Cloud services related product lifecycle and try to maximize EBIDTA
  • Proactively take responsibility for self-improvement by staying well-informed of developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise
  • Attend Training Programs, Courses, Seminars, conferences, vendor meetings, User Groups and presentations to be ready with the latest business ideas  
Qualifications:
  • Computer and Communications Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • MBA or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration is a Plus
Other Information:
  • Required 8-9 years of experience in a similar environment.
  • Experience in management of B2B related projects Service delivery & Installation including complex and high value service requests.
  • Demonstrate strong technology literacy in communications technology, and Hosting/Cloud/SOC Services.
  • Systematic, process and procedures oriented.
  • Good knowledge of ITIL.
  • Good experience in Project Management. PMP or Prince2 is a Plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
  • Strong coaching and team building experience.
  • Ability to operate in a diverse multicultural, multinational work environment, exhibiting appropriate sensitivities.
  • Fluent verbal/written communication in English. Arabic an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Advanced Business AcumenStrong experience in each area described in “Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge”
  • Ideally Data Centre and B2B related products and services
