The Role:
Assist management with researching and delivering social media campaigns, designed, in the creation and execution of Social Media campaigns, in the final purpose of increasing sales and revenue to Ooredoo Telecom and to enhance the company’s image on the social media world. 
Key Accountabilities and Activities:
  • Manage Social Media Team
  • Manage Social media agency and ensure top level performance
  • Develop and execute social media plans, marketing campaigns and tactics.
  • Responsible for review on various aspects of performance of available online social media services.
  • Work closely with the agencies and IT for articles, blogs, influencers and all social media channels.
  • Liaise and build relationships with all stakeholders, (e.g. customers, suppliers and colleagues).
  • Come up with ideas for marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain and build relationships with the media.
  • Track campaign effectiveness.
  • Monitor and engage social networks.
  • Create and participate in online communities.
  • Manage agencies with regard to the execution of briefed campaigns. Ensuring consistency of approach and conformity within approved corporate standards allocated budgets and expected time periods.
  • Recommend to management updates and enhancements to online and interactive services based on customer’s requests and needs, and in line with developments in the industry.
  • Carry out any other task that can help in achieving Ooredoo Telecom’s strategic business objectives and company position.Assist in building a highly engaged fan/follower/subscriber base by actively managing the following areas across the customer lifecycle: listening, insights, customer service, content marketing, and campaigns/promotions
  • Assist in creating weekly, monthly and quarterly reports across all social media channels reflecting Ooredoo customers, brand perception and areas in need of development
  • Ensure that all online communication helps Ooredoo achieve its strategic business objective and premier market position
  •  Assist in the creation of communication plans for all social media campaigns
  •  Assist in enhancing Ooredoo brand equity & presence through our communications
  • Monitor our social media channels on daily basis for inquiries & feedback
  • Coordinate with different departments for the latest updates like Sales, Branches, Marketing, IT, Technology and Customer Care as well
  • Support the creation of videos, images and graphic work to be used on social media channels
  • Monitor our channels and reply with appropriate answers
  • Capture Sales leads to add revenue to the companyProactively take responsibility for self-improvement by staying well-informed of developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise.
  • Other duties as directed by Manager or other superiors.
Bachelor degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Media, Advertising or related discipline and appropriate registration with a recognised professional institute
Other Information:
  • Required 5-6 years of experience relevant experience in Interactive Marketing in the telecommunications.
  • Genuine passion for Social Media.
  • Active user of social networks and have profiles on all the main online channels.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications like Excel, Word etc.
  • Excellent command of both written and verbal Arabic and English.
  • Creative flair and excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to operate in a diverse multicultural, multinational work environment, exhibiting appropriate sensitivities.
  • Excellent follow up skills on multiple channels including emails.Strong Creative skills
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal Communication skills
