The Role:

Responsible for managing and communicating with Sub Dealers. The objectives are to expand their base and increase market penetration by increasing Sub Dealers sales volume and branding awareness in Kuwait market.

Key Accountabilities and Activities:
  • Accountable for Sales target assigned to the area he is managing

  • Build direct one to one relation with Point of Sales and maintain retention process is in place

  • Identify, assess and propose Sub Dealers for recruitment to Head of Channel Development.

  • Ensure periodical Communicate with Sub Dealers based on shop class and assigned target

  • Conduct daily visits for Sub Dealers as per the plan and set number of visits.

  • Generate feedback from market regarding Ooredoo Kuwait performance & competitors’ performance.

  • Promote Ooredoo Kuwait products and services for Sub Dealers existing and new.

  • Handle the Sub Dealers requests.

  • Monitor and analyze performance, progress and activities of all Sub Dealers.

  • Recommend schemes that improve Sub Dealers performance.

  • Resolve Sub Dealers’ problems and issues.

  • Responsible for Sub Dealers promotions. 

  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on all Sub Dealers activities, plans and developments to Team leader, Street Force.

  • SAT (Sales activation tools) distribution among sub dealer channel (creation new SAT, SIM replacement, singe new contract and collecting the needed document and).

  • Managing the SAT activates (entry, SAT features awareness, submitting commission . . . Etc.)

  • Enhance brand visibility by installing more signage boards and collateral distribution

  • Execute the expansion of VAR (Value Added Reseller shops) to cover the gap in the market and retain class A sub-dealers

  • Manage and evaluate the Area Developer Teams (outsource team)

  • Set business objectives for channel players; manage the operation and review results in order to take corrective and development actions

  • Assign monthly visit plan for assigned Area Developer team to cover the whole shops under Area Developer (agent) responsibility

  • Monitor and Auditing the Visit report in the survey portal

  • Apply the tools to Audit Area developers team work and ensure quality of work

  • Rotate and reassign areas for area developer teams on periodical basis 

  • Obtain feedback from Sub Dealers on problems of significance, opportunities for value- added services, new products and services and avenues for new business and address them with the Team leader for action.

  • Monitoring the Value Added Reseller shops in terms of performance , quality of sales , SAF submission etc ..)

  • Ensure that sales and revenues targets set by the Head od Channel Development are met.

  • Proactively take responsibility for self-improvement by staying well-informed of developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise.

  • Attend Training Programs, Courses, Seminars, conferences, vendor meetings, User Groups and presentations to be ready with the latest business ideas. 

  • Other duties as directed by Team leader or other superiors.

Qualifications:
  • Diploma degree in Business or a related discipline from a recognized, tertiary institution
  • Required 2+  years of experience based on progression ladder

Other Information:
  • Strong knowledge of Telecom Industry, Products and Services.

  • Excellent presentation skills.

  • Well connected in the business community with strong networking potential and the ability to relate to people at all levels.

  • Ability to operate in a diverse multicultural, multinational work environment, exhibiting appropriate sensitivities.

  • Fluent verbal/written communication in English. Arabic an advantage.
