VAC8272 - Fresh Graduate Accountant – Receivables (Omanis Only)

As the Accountant – Receivables you will be responsible for the reporting of the General Ledger accounts relating to banking and receivables, and the reporting of collections at Stores and Dealers.  They department ensures  these are prepared on a timely basis;  accurately  reflect the financial position  of the company and adhere to relevant accounting standards.
Core Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of the following:

  • ·         Arrange/ Support to open new bank accounts and standing orders
  • ·         Provide sales operation dedicated collection accounts for cash collected vis store counter and SSM
  • ·         Provide sales operation dedicated deposit stamps to stamp the bank account on the deposit slips
  • ·         Provide sales operation required details to configure and map stores collections in AR & Cash Management in Oracle
  • ·         Reconcile stores counter cash collection invoices (AR vs MRMS)
  • ·         Reconcile SSM collection invoices (AR vs Kiosk)
  • ·         Rectify wrong invoices in Oracle
  • ·         Upload daily cash collection bank statements in the cash management module in Oracle
  • ·         Check and resolve unapplied receipts
  • ·         Follow-up short or excess receipts and update in AR module in Oracle
  • ·         Rectify wrong receipts in Oracle
  • ·         Arrange / Support to open new bank accounts, new merchants, and standing orders
  • ·         Reconcile card collections, follow up and resolve discrepancies
  • ·         Reconcile AR receivable sub-ledger (AR vs GL)
  • ·         Reconcile/ substantiate stores collection relevant GL accounts (clearing accounts, transit accounts, location accounts,)
  • ·         Validate and process customer refund requests
  • ·         Calculate and post bad debts provisions
  • ·         Update provision ECL models
  • ·         Analyze and explain movement in provisions
The Person:

You should have  a Bachelor degree in business or finance with a minimum GPA of 3 and graduated from 2018, 2019 , 2020 and 2021
