IT EA and DM department is responsible for the Creation of EA and solution design, Maintenance and management, technology Research & Advisory , driving effective business and IT change within the enterprise, applying EA to capitalize on business and technology disruptions and Integrating EA with governance, risk and compliance initiatives. The department is responsible for design approval before the deployment.

Process and Data Designer

 

  • Undertakes the design of the end to end-to-end technical process.
  • Ensure the process proposed are aligned with business teams (Sales, Marketing and Customer Service) objectives and SLAs.
  • Review the proposed process designs and flows received from Ooredoo ADM vendor to ensure their alignment with business needs.
  • Support business teams to build and design easy processes taking into consideration business needs and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify the main challenges and issues with sales and customer service teams in relation to customer’s service and support, analyze these and provide appropriate solution.
  • Analyze the TTs from business teams and propose the solution and enhancement for to resolve these issues
  • Define a canonical data model for integration of different data formats from various systems.
  • Ensure the proposed design from Ooredoo ADM vendor is for new system integration with ESB goes through the canonical data model procedure.
  • Define the specification of data model per system.
  • Support other IT teams whenever is required

 

Vendor Partnership
  • Work closely with SI and ADM vendor as required.

 

Reporting

  • Provide periodical status’s report for on-going projects as required by the business
  • Report and escalate immediately any risk, issue and problem occurred or expected to the SH for speedy resolution

Knowledge Development
  • Responsible for maintaining awareness of business process especially for Sales and Customer Service teams.
  • Understanding SOA patterns and eTOM
  • Understand the specification and functionalities per application and system

Documentations:

  • Ensure the flows of business processes documents are up-to-date.
  • Ensure the data models for different systems documents are up-to-date.

 

Technical designing :

  • SOA standard are applied in the process designs.
  • The designs are align with eTOM framework
  • Business requirements accurately captured.

 

The Person:

Education Level ( Minimum / Preferred)


Bachelor degree in computer science, MIS or related field.

Required Experience and Knowledge to be able to do the job ( Minimum / Preferred)

  • At least 4 years’ experience in telecommunication or adjacent industries experience
  • Strong experience in Telecommunications Process Frameworks (TMF eTOM) and IT Process Frameworks (ITIL)
  • Strong experience in IT and Telecommunication standards
  • Ability to discuss with business teams in the business languages
  • MS Office Proficiency
  • Fluent in written and spoken English – Arabic a plus
