Role Summary & Duties and Responsibilities:

Role Summary

As the Artificial Intelligence & Data Scientist, your main role is to execute end-to-end Data Science and AI models. Leading the charge, you will be responsible for analysing large datasets related to telecom operations, customer behaviour, network performance, and market trends by applying advanced analytics and statistic techniques, you will uncover insights to optimize network infrastructure, enhance customer experiences, and drive business growth.

Ensuring the delivery of top-notch projects that yield substantial business value through various Data Science models such as Recommendation Engines, propensity models, and diverse segmentation techniques will also be your responsibility.

Furthermore, you'll play a pivotal role in driving initiatives related to data monetization strategies and identifying fresh business prospects by leveraging AI and data analytics to uncover potential revenue streams.

Duties & Reponsabilites

1. Data Analysis and Modelling:

  • Drive data utilization for business growth and foster data-driven decision-making.

  • Develop and deploy various AI & DS models for revenue generation, cost reduction, and operational enhancement.

  • Utilize statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining techniques to extract insights from complex telecom datasets.

  • Develop predictive models to forecast network traffic, customer churn, and other key performance indicators.

  • Conduct hypothesis testing and experimentation to validate findings and recommendations.

  • Collaborate with diverse teams to devise innovative data products for B2C and B2B markets.

     

2. Network Optimization:

  • Collaborate with network engineers and architects to optimize network performance, capacity planning, and resource allocation.

  • Identify areas for improvement in network reliability, latency, and throughput through data-driven analysis.

  • Recommend strategies to enhance network efficiency and reduce operational costs.

  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate AI & DS solutions.

3. Customer Insights:

  • Analyse customer behaviour and preferences to identify opportunities for personalized services, targeted marketing campaigns, and customer retention initiatives.

  • Segment customer base and develop propensity models to predict customer actions and preferences.

  • Measure and track customer satisfaction metrics to improve overall service quality.

 

4. Business Strategy Support:

  • Conduct comprehensive business analysis to provide insights for strategic decision-making.

  • Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify emerging trends and opportunities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions to business challenges.

5. Data Management and Visualization:

  • Perform data pre-processing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis.

  • Build ETL pipelines to transform unstructured data into suitable formats.

  • Collecting and clean data, preprocess, and integrate diverse datasets from multiple sources.

  • Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.

  • Develop automated analytics solutions and APIs for data access and integration.

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Integrate with big data ecosystems and optimize SQL queries.

  • Communicate findings through data visualizations, reports, and presentations.

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and flow while finding relevant data sources.

  • Propose solutions and strategies for business problems and drive adoption of Generative AI solutions.

  • Implement image processing techniques and deploy speech analytics solutions.

  • Spearhead efforts to monetize telecom data and forge strategic partnerships.

  • Uphold data privacy and compliance standards.

Experience & Qualifications:
  • 4-7 years of working experience in Data Science & AI.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.

  • Master’s degree in applied data science or MBA is a plus.

  • Solid technical background in IT platforms relating to data integration, extraction, consolidation, and data scraping from external sources.

  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Demonstrated experience in executing on complex projects, extracting, cleansing, and manipulating large, diverse structured and unstructured data sets.

  • Strong experience with open-source technology solutions like Python/R/SCALA

  • Proven experience in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modelling.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights.

  • Telecom data science experience is a big plus.

  • Fluent English.
