The Role:

The Director of Multimedia Innovation & Strategic Marketing and PR is responsible for developing and executing innovative multimedia strategies and comprehensive marketing and public relations plans for the strategic business unit of a leading telecom company. This role focuses on driving brand growth, enhancing customer engagement, leveraging multimedia content to support business objectives, and managing strategic marketing relationships with external parties.

Key Responsibilties:
  • Develop and implement strategic multimedia initiatives aligned with the company’s business goals.

  • Lead the creation of a comprehensive marketing and PR strategy to enhance awareness and market presence.

  •  Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize key business opportunities.

  • Develop the Go to Market strategies for new business ventures to serve the business objectives to include the following:

    -        Content creation and Development

    -        Oversee the creation and distribution of multimedia content across various platforms (video, social media, digital advertising, etc.).

    -        Innovate new formats and channels for engaging target.

    -        Manage the creation of the content that includes videos, Press materials, interviews, etc.

  • Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition and retention.

  • Analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies for maximum impact.

  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to support marketing initiatives.

  • Develop and manage public relations strategies and maintain relation with Media.

  • Oversee the creation of press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.

  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and industry influencers.

  • Manage events that are related to external parties and partnerships.

  • Develop and manage strategic marketing plans for external partners and stakeholders.

  • Coordinate and oversee joint marketing initiatives and co-branding efforts with external parties.

  • Ensure alignment of external marketing

  • Guide and mentor a team of executives providing assistance where necessary

  • To train and monitor the performance of the team ensuring that all KPI’s and development Objectives are met

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.

  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members

  • Proactively take responsibilities of self-improvements by staying well-informed of developments in local and international media trends, innovations in telecom.

  • Other duties as directed by direct supervisor or other superiors.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Job specific technical Skills:
  • 8-9 required years of experience in marketing, and public relations.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful multimedia and marketing strategies.

  • Strong understanding of the telecom industry and its market dynamics.

  • Experience in managing strategic marketing relationships with external parties.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics, and multimedia software.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills.

  • Solid ability to present to senior audiences and facilitate the same.

  • Strong executive level presence.

  • Superior organizational skills.

  • Strong experience managing teams.
