Job overview:
  • The Senior Manager - and Fix- Mobile Convergence & Broadband role is responsible for developing and executing strategies for Fixed Mobile Convergence and Home Broadband/Fiber to the Home offerings. This role involves market analysis, product development guidance, cross-functional and cross-markets collaboration to ensure successful go-to-market execution.

  • The role is supporting the OpCos in building strong product strategy, propositions for Home broadband irrespective of the used technology, with dedicated focus to Fiber to the Home opportunities, including Go To Market approach for Home Broadband and FMC.

Your impact on our goals:
  • Support Associate Director Sales and Distribution and Senior Director Customer Excellence in value creation plans related to home broadband segment of the OpCos and to follow up on their execution with the OpCo leadership

    • Develop Group strategies for HBB/FTTH and FMC, aligning with Group objectives

    • Conduct market assessment to identify opportunities across markets, assess competitive landscape and understand customer needs for HBB/FTTH

    • Develop a framework on HBB strategy per technology and customer needs use cases

    • Collaborate with the OpCos on aligning a tailor-made strategy per market for HBB/FTTH and FMC, including technology, product management, and marketing teams to create innovative HBB/FTTH solutions, with FMC opportunity

    • Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and promotional activities

    • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure OpCos are able to deliver seamless service and customer satisfaction

    • Establish KPIs to track the performance of HBB/FTTH and FMC offerings and propose strategies adjustments as needed

    • Contribute to the budget planning, resource allocation and roll out plans for HBB/FTTH projects

    • Review the HBB and FMC strategies in the OpCos and propose improvements

    • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements that may impact the HBB products

    • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate HBB and FMC performance to GCCO and other stakeholders

    • Involve into CPEs strategy across OpCos

       

  • FMC propositions and Go To Market management

    • Coordinate cross-functional and cross-markets team to ensure successful FMC product development and deployment is in place in different markets

    • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in FMC services

    • Gather and analyse customer feedback to continuously improve FMC offerings across markets

    • Ensure that product features enhance the user experience and meet customer expectations

  • Perform the commercial analysis of ad hoc requests from Group / OpCo management and ensure that recommendations are based on robust / accurate information

  • Support the Group Commercial team on Group Device strategy, fix and mobile

  • Act as the expert advisor for the OpCos management on HBB/FTTH and FMC topics

  • Initiate and run Group led projects to improve the commercial performance of the OpCos

  • Ensure that opportunities for synergies between OpCos are attained

  • Facilitate experience sharing (knowledge, technical capabilities, or human resources) between OpCos

  • Take interim management roles in OpCos when required

Experience:
  • 8+ years leading telco experience on convergent fix and mobile markets, with dedicated focus on HBB/FTTH sales and marketing role

  • 5+ years of experience in cross functional team management and coordination

  • 10+ years of Commercial Telco industry experience in a Group or OpCo capacity

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree

  • Master’s degree is a plus

  • English mandatory, another language spoken in one of Ooredoo OpCos is a plus

  • Strong understanding of HBB/FTTH product development and product management

  • Advanced understanding of different HBB technologies

  • Experience in developing FMC propositions

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
