This position will work with the Ooredoo Group Leadership Team, the Opco CEOs and direct reports and will be accountable for the successful delivery of One Ooredoo Program by managing the Program Support Office. The program aims to implement a unified way of working across Finance, Sourcing and Human Resources with clear roles and responsibilities that eliminates redundancy and promotes efficiency. This will ensure a coordinated approach throughout Ooredoo, enabling Ooredoo operations to execute their mandates effectively.
Ooredoo is entering a new phase in its lifecycle where operational and commercial excellence has become critical for success. The urgency for change has become more heightened amidst increased competitive intensity across all markets in which Ooredoo operates.
The Group’s ESS transformation programme called OneOoredoo must therefore ensure the successful delivery of the transformation in context of:
Alignment of the Program objectives with the overall Ooredoo strategy
Rapidly changing ICT environment
Management of executive and shareholder expectations across the OpCos throughout the transformation
Management of employee, customer, and supplier expectations
Constant dynamics and local challenges in the economic, regulatory, and legal environments
Strong understanding of SAP ERP modules on RISE and cloud, ability to translate business requirements into effective solutions
Capacity to lead Demand management across Ooredoo OpCos.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business requirements, perform detailed analysis of requirements to plan as per budget.
Ability to document the process and functional/technical specifications.
Ensure SAP system scalability, security and aligned with the organizations strategic objectives
Identify opportunities for process improvement
Manage stakeholders and demand requests from OpCos
Work with Release Manager to plan and forecast future releases after analysing impact.
Develop & maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in SAP and keep a tab on future releases from SAP.
Participate in product roadmap and product strategy definition.
Help and review with the creation of training.
Hold self and others accountable to the committed deadlines and ensure successful deliverables.
Participate as a key stakeholder in Change board.
Ensure stakeholder satisfaction through quality work and effective communication.
8-10 years of work experience over all
6 years of experience in SAP ERP (Finance, HR and S2S), project management, demand management, release management.
3 years of working in transformation projects
3 years of working for a Telco
Hard skills requirements:
Have a good understanding of SAP best practices.
Must have experience of SAP modules such as Finance, HR and S2S.
SAP development background for demand estimation
Must have good experience with demand planning and forecasting.
SAP ERP certifications will be considered as value add.
Soft skills requirements:
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. French & Arabic will be considered a value add.
Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
Unquestionable professional integrity, credibility, and character
Ability to assess and manage/notify technical risks and issues to management.
Proven record working with a fast-paced delivery environment.
Excellent stakeholder management including executives and C-suites.
BS Degree in computer science or engineering or higher
