Assist in carrying out maintenance ,servicing and installation of power plant equipment,including providing mobile power as and when required and cleaning of power stations and equipment.  

• Provides assistance in carrying out routine and breakdown maintenance on all diesel engines up to 1250 KVA
• Performs the preventive maintenance operations as per schedule or instructions from Supervisors
• Tramports mobile generator for temporary power supplies
• Monitors and reports file stock position
• Carries out compression testing, load testing using load bank, fuel pump and calibrating, injectors adjusting and testing, faults finding in controls, programming of timers
• Uses all safety measures, equipment and strictly adheres to the safety standards
• Handles all minor and routine repairs and diesel engine and other equipment. Assists in major repairs, overhauling
• Provides assistance in the cleaning of machines, equipment
• Provides assistance in installing and testing equipment, shifting, relocation
• Carries out manual jobs related to installation, servicing and maintenance
• Keeps the work area neat and clean. Performs other incidental jobs
• Provides assistance to Air-Conditioning Unit whenever required
• Collects spares/mechanical from stores
• Keeps all tools, testing equipment at the appropriate place ensuring safety
• Strictly adheres to all safety precautions
• Performs any other related duties as required

• 3 years of relevant experience in similar work area
• Qatari Driving licence is desirable
• Should have sound physique and basic understanding of Power Plant operating system
