VAC8265 - Engineer- Projects & Co-Location ( Fresh Graduate Omani Only)

Ooredoo Oman Family Member:
This position is responsible for
  • Technical Tower Engineering and Tower Sharing.
  • Responsible for sites projects delivery as per project schedule by PM
  • Technical Contract Holding for Site Sharing & Co-Location request

Core Responsibilities:

Perform Sites Engineering coordination
  • Perform Site Acquisition/ Engineering activities.
  • Evaluate site collocation request structurally, electrically and mechanically if required.
  • Acquiring new plots or site sharing thru defined communication procedures and documentations
  • Maintain all site and towers details of the relevant Ooredoo infrastructure areas.
  • Facilitate communications, access requests for Site and FOC implementations permissions.
  • Coordinate with relevant internal department for site requirements in term of CME (Civil Mechanical Electrical) and transmission requirement and access control.

Shared Site & Co-Locations

 
  • Receiving colocation requests
  • Reviewing/ categorizing requests.
  • Registering requests in Ooredoo database.
  • Follow up requests with internal teams for Approval.
  • Managing technical invoices.

Reporting, Supporting & Administration
  • Provided technical support for variety of systems, Antenna Tilt, Height, Azimuth, Radio replacements, power measurement etc.
  • Doing assessments, auditing & assist senior engineer in working on tracking processes by Providing a weekly/monthly report on the progress of the works and the achievements
  • Evaluate the design & update all in-house project site plans through AutoCAD.
  • Support all OO technical teams by providing them & updating layout plans

The Person:
To be considered for the role you should be graduated with a Bachelor Degree Engineering Degree in Civil/ Mechanical / Electrical / telecomm

 

(Multi domain knowledge is required) with a minimum GPA of 3.0 graduated from 2018 till 2021 and currently a job seeker.

Other Information:

You will be offered a 12 months contract during this period you will be evaluated with line manger according to you performance you will be offered an indefinite contract with Ooredoo Oman.
