Ooredoo Oman Family Member:

As the Manager –Pricing you will be responsible for the implementation of the pricing strategy of Ooredoo, producing tactical pricing models to support promotions and commercial activities, and for conducting life-cycle management for Ooredoo products & services in both fixed and mobile services.  In addition,  deploying  the Ooredoo pricing process, policy and tools  and  business case development in order to ensure Ooredoo have appropriate and proven pricing strategies and structures to deliver its revenue and acquisition targets.

Core Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of managing the implementation of the pricing strategy for Ooredoo POPS in alignment with partner pricing requirements and coordinating and managing the pricing obligations, supporting pricing positioning of POPSs across the segments offering for Ooredoo by supporting the analysis of  the segments and give a comprehensive feedback to Marketing managers on competitive offering and whether they are launched as per terms and conditions, maintaining a detailed understanding of pricing strategies deployed by other operators in addition to carrying out individual and group project work relating (example) to trends in market pricing, data pricing, 4G pricing, market evolution, new pricing structures, calling traffic profiles and longer term profitability optimisation, proactively develops new/innovative pricing initiatives, analysing competitor offers  and provide revenue impact, reaction required and benchmarking analysis, reviewing best practice tactical across MENA, and worldwide, and introduce to Oman as appropriate, working with product management to ensure that pricing is understandable, attractive and acceptable to target customers and delivers the revenue targets expected by the Product proposition, coordinating the development of the promotional roadmap  to support sales channels, evaluating promotional and bundled pricing for Ooredoo POPSs and related competition offers and support in conducting proper post-launch analysis for our offerings, providing technical pricing support to  product managers in forming their pricing strategies, deploying the Ooredoo pricing process, policy and tools and business case development in order to ensure Ooredoo have appropriate and proven pricing strategies and structures to deliver its revenue and acquisition targets across the  POPSs life-cycle, enhancing and drive pricing approval process, develop policies and appropriate tools as required, managing the partner relation and ensure alignment with consumer pricing, developing business cases for key POPSs to enable effective decision making by the pricing committee and ExCo, enabling efficient processing of business cases to pricing committee and ExCo, managing and following-up  on  business case performance compared to targets, POPS   = Promotions, Offers, Propositions and Services and supporting all business cases via data analysis and data warehouse reports.

The Person:

You should have a minimum of 4 years  total  experience  at least 2 of which in a pricing role, preferably experience in partner pricing within Telecoms, strong understanding of tactical and strategic pricing, demonstrable expertise in pricing models In depth knowledge of market/pricing  segmentation with a  university degree in economics or business or any similar major.
