ROLE & CONTEXT:

Purpose:

 Ensure IT Systems have a High up time and are able to cater to business requirements, by managing and monitoring vendor activities.

 

Context :

Insure vendor provides quality service

Managing main vendor and other 3rd party vendors to make sure quality service and Ooredoo business expectations are adhered to.

 

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Overview

 

  • Ensure IT system and applications delivery & adherence from the managed services team.
  • Ensure Incidents, Problems and Service request are well documented and resolved within SLA
  • Calculate and advise penalty to be imposed for non-delivery or delivery out of SLAs
  • Ensure performance report generation for daily / weekly / monthly network performance & statistics.
  • Recognizing  reports/system improvement areas and highlight to vendor
  • Strong coordination with suppliers for timely performance reports generation purpose
  • RCA  and reports validations
  • Participate in cross functional meetings with Vendors and business stakeholders
  • Change request validations  for IT system
  • Analysis of system performance reports.
  • Daily analysis of incidents , service request  reports
  • Support other team member’s activities when they are not available, on leave.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge

-2 years

-Extensive knowledge of Huawei NGBSS Applications

-3GPP knowledge, diameter, camel protocol

- Provision, Mediation, DMS, CMS, ERP, PCRF, caching PA

-Good written & spoken English ability.

- ITIL knowledge

- Familiar with the operational process

- Result oriented

Minimum Entry Qualifications

B.Sc. /Computer Science/ Engineering degree in Electronics / Telecommunications Engineering

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI):

 

  • Manage vendor to provide 99.99 system/service availability
  • Ensure SLA ‘s are adhered
  • Ensuring outages are reduced/limited
  • RCA are well documented and accurate
  • Incidents and Service request are closed on time
  • Timely publication of performance reports, accurate analysis & summary from Performance reports
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports to :  

IT/VAS Ops & App Manager  

Interacts with:

Vendors Huawei, NSN and other 3rd party vendors for technical meeting/issues

Huawei Back office team, NOC Management, Incident/Service Management, Ooredoo business divisions.
