ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsible for all Ooredoo Product development and management, including Voice, Data & VAS and across Consumer and B2B
Develops the strategy, roadmap, ideation, design, evaluation, launch and rollout of products and services.
Manage the overall product lifecycle
Develop technical specifications for new products, features or service enhancements
Drive profitability of all products and services
Define Service Excellence opportunities of products that will deliver superior user experience of customers
In partnership with Acquisition Managers, create segment-specific promotions and packages which create the highest possible value
Analyse market potential of new Mobile services technologies
Develop User Acceptance Testing frameworks and ensure that all new service offerings are tested successfully before market readiness
Puts in place product monitoring procedures to ensure that all product launches meet the stated proposition and owns any actions/adjustments required
Undertakes proactive and reactive product health monitoring checks to identify potential issues or problems, and takes necessary actions
Working with IT department to plan and implement product and service enhancements to existing product portfolio
In conjunction with Acquisition Managers and the Marketing Communication teams, ensure advertising (ATL/BTL) campaigns clearly identifies the correct propositions to ensure targeted uptake and revenue
Works with the Acquisition Mangers, Pricing, Business Planning, and Regulatory department and others, to develop pricing models, which will be inline with revenue targets and regulatory requirements.
Maintains up to date knowledge of technology and products which may generate new Mobile services propositions
Owns the Go/No-Go decision for launching of products and promotions
Responsible for information sharing and Project Management of production of training documentation / information packs to Sales, Retail & Customer Service channels
Carry out training to ensure that Sales and Sales Support functions are adequately trained on Mobile services
Liaise with other stakeholders to ensure that the appropriate capacity, quality and cost parameters are being sourced and delivered for Qtel use

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge
12 years of work experience in of which 6 should be within a comparable telecom company in a similar role where developing products and services has played a significant role and 3 years’ experience in managing teams
Must have knowledge of technology platforms
Must have experience of product development and management life cycles
Minimum Entry Qualifications
Bachelor/Master degree in Marketing/Computer Science/Telecommunication/Management
