The Purpose:
Preparing tailored hosting and cloud solutions to Ooredoo customers
Key Accountabilities & Activities:
  • Define and deliver on-site technical engagements with customers. This includes participating in pre-sales on-site visits, and understanding customer requirements, and
  • Design of customer’s Cloud and hosting environments
  • Architect IT solutions across a variety of IAAS technologies
  • Build customers’ business continuity and risk plans and provide maximum value in IAAS technologies.
  • Provide consultancy in migration methodologies and techniques
  • Propose and deliver packaged hosting and cloud offerings
  • Develop and present business and technical proposals for potential and existing customers
  • Provide strategic consulting to C-level executives and senior managers on a range of technology topics including different hosting and Cloud services.
  • Lead architecture discussions and reviews to determine if new products and solutions comply with the agreed enterprise cloud/hosting strategy
  • Maintain Vendor relationship
  • Lead meetings with vendors in order to choose the right product for the customer
  • Worked on deals assigned to the sales and account managers team and guided them through the correct solution that meets the customer requirement
  • Provided coaching and professional development to sales associates
  • Assist the sales team in conducting technical meetings with the customers
  • Ensured that the sales team is following up on the contracts renewals and upselling the existing customers
  • Recommend key ideas for sales channel improvement Advance IT knowledge & understanding across the wider organisation

  • Maintain strong problem solving, technical writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Understand of security best practices and their practical application
  • Maintain a deep knowledge and awareness of the technology across applications and infrastructure, different use cases, strengths/weaknesses, best fit technologies and organizational readiness
  • Proactively take responsibility for self-improvement by staying well-informed of developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise.
  • Attend Training Programs, Courses, and Seminars, conferences, vendor meetings, User Groups and presentations to be ready with the latest business ideas. 

Other duties as directed by the Manager or other superiors.

Qualifications/Requirements:

-8+ years on experience in the relevant field

-Technically qualify sales opportunities and assist in their closing

-Conduct conference calls, meetings, workshops to gather the business and technical requirements of customers in terms of business applications, network and facility needs, security, bandwidth, services and service levels….

-Design the solution by selecting the appropriate products and services based on the business and technical requirements.

-Manage and develop proposals using Proposal Template and propose enhancement to proposal quality.

-Interfacing with vendors (service providers, hardware, software and professional services vendors) to finalize solutions and obtain best pricing.

-Prepare costing and pricing of the specific solution based on the different Business Unit input: for each project a detailed costing and pricing analysis shall be conducted.

-Prepare and Conduct presentations on product, services and solutions.

-Build and develop good relationships with customer and partner project managers

-Generate reports to customers, partners, and management Bachelor of Computer Engineering or Science, or Business/another degree but with relevant discipline

Strong technical background in Internet technologies and managed/cloud services

-Strong knowledge in designing Web services, network infrastructure

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic

-Excellent customer/partner relationship management skills
