The Legal & Regulatory function is responsible for providing legal & regulatory advice, support & counselling on all legal & regulatory matters to a range of internal customers across the organisation.

This role works with Ooredoo’s departments providing legal support across every aspect of business, with a particular focus on projects, finance, corporate governance and corporate secretariat.

This role is responsible for providing legal advice, across the business on a general legal basis, ensuring that all departments/functions comply with legal requirements.

You should have at least

• 15 years post qualification experience dealing with commercial areas within a major law firm and / or commercial business – preferably telecommunications related or where there are significant regulatory frameworks 
• Specific areas of practice: 

• General commercial law 
• Telecommunications law 
• Corporate law (including mergers & acquisitions, company formations etc) 
• Corporate governance 
• Corporate secretariat 
• Thorough Knowledge of Qatari law
