VAC6771 - GeoMarketing Manager
Field: Marketing Contract Type: Full Time - Permanent
Location: Myanmar - Yangon Closing date: 11-Aug-2017
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To manage and use tools and applications, including Geo-Intelligence Solutions, to perform Geo Marketing Analysis to support decision making within the company.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Maintain maps of
  • Population down to cluster level (~200k across Myanmar)
  • Sites and coverage with signal strength
  • Points of Branding
  • Points of Sales
  • Using Market intel to predict/forecast other operators coverage

 Maintain reference tables of

    • Administrative areas
    • OM own defined areas (ie Sales Area)
    • Towns and ‘polygons’
    • Sites, cell-IDs and sectors

 Maintain and further develop models at a cluster level of

    • Demand for voice and data
    • Penetration per segment
    • Population growth per segment at cluster level
    • Customer Network Experience for Ooredoo and other operators
    • Support other departments with ad-hoc requests related to population, demand, coverage, signal strength
    • Prepare reports as required
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • University Graduate with Bachelor/ Master Degree in Marketing/ Computer Science/ Telecommunication Management
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar role where developing complex/ multi-layered maps
  • Experience with MapInfo and other similar tools
  • SQL – query, create and update tables
  • Strong Excel Skills
