VAC6508 - Organizational Development Manager

A. PURPOSE & CONTEXT:

Purpose: To provide guidance to the OD Specialist(s) and to support OD Director to achieve organization-wide strategic HR objectives

Context: OD Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of organizational development projects, aligned to overall HR Strategy. Acting as a facilitator of change the role will work closely with the Chief HR Officer, OD Director, and other members of the Human Resources Team, to ensure organizational effectiveness.

B. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

         Performance Management

  • Support the end-to-end process for Ooredoo Myanmar’s Employee Performance Management (EPM)
  • Liaise with relevant senior executives on Employee Performance ratings, calibrations and related matters
  • Analyze employee performance data and present in suitable format for distribution to senior executives and Ooredoo Group Board
  • Educate various stakeholders on the Employee Performance Management process, including design and delivery of information and training sessions

     

    Leadership Development

  • Working closely with the Organizational Development Director, identify appropriate leadership development activities aligned to Ooredoo Group’s competency framework
  • Support in design and delivery of leadership development activities, based on 70:20:10 development methodology
  • Administer leadership assessment tools and conduct debrief sessions

     

    Succession Planning

  • Support the OD Director with implementation of phased-approach Ooredoo Myanmar’s Succession Planning
  • Influence stakeholders to adopt succession planning
  • Assist various stakeholders with the process of talent identification and development
  • Provide high level administrative support on succession planning tools

     

    OD Interventions and Change Management

  • Implement OD interventions to ensure effective organizational practices
  • Identify and support organizational change activities in line with managing changes in response to organization and market needs

     

    HR Strategy

  • Assist in design of HR Strategies that align with Ooredoo Myanmar’s Mission, Vision, Values and Strategies
C. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
  • Increased effective and timely usage of Employee Performance Management (EPM) System
  • Timely administration of Echo Survey for year-on-year improvement on response rate and staff engagement
  • Implementation of leadership activities to support OM Succession Planning strategy
  • Accurate and timely analysis of and presentation of data such as EPM calibrations and quarterly reports
  • Demonstration of Ooredoo’s corporate values of Caring, Connecting, Challenging
D. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS & DECISION MAKING:

Interacts with:

  • Human Resources Team
  • Departments and Employees of all levels
  • External agencies, vendors and contractors
E. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge

  • 5 – 7 year experience in HR; including organizational development experience desired
  • Good knowledge of general HR management
  • Relevant experience in strategic HR projects
  • Understanding of HR processes and systems

Minimum Entry Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in HR or Business Management
  • Internationally recognized Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources (preferred)
  • Certificate or Diploma in Applied Psychology (preferred)
