Role Purpose:

This role responsible to oversee and manage strategic projects portfolios with the objective of ensuring all projects are delivered within the agreed scope, time, cost and quality. The role is expected to provide strong leadership in a matrix environment to promote best practices in managing interrelated projects to ensure successful delivery. The role will also ensure project resources have the correct toolsets and processes in place and that all relevant staff are trained and equipped to deliver successfully. The focus of this role is on the project tracking and governance under Office of Dir. & Chief Operating Officer. This includes stakeholder management with all Chiefs, GHs/DHs, and partners. 

Requirements & Skills:

Qualification:

Minimum Bachelor degree from reputable university

 Experience: 

  • Significant experience (min. 5 years) at a senior level in a PMO function, preferably in Telecommunication
  • Experience to develop project/program management and planning skills
  • Team management experience with the ability to manage and motive matrix project teams as well as the PMO
  • Experience of providing input to organizational business and budget planning
  • Experience of prioritization matrices and working with the business to determine appropriate project prioritization
  • Experience of resource planning against the prioritized portfolio of projects and ability to work with the PMO and business to manage project
  • Experience of providing input to organizational business, organization, and budget planning

 

 
Responsibilities:
  • Translate the Company and Group Vision, Mission and Strategy into roadmaps
  • Provide and clarify divisional objectives for the team
  • Establish divisional KPI based on organizational scorecard and cascaded down the teams
  • Manage division resources and budget based on work-plan and control the utilization/realization of it
  • Drive strategic projects under Office of Dir. & Chief Operating Officer to deliver strategic roadmap of the company
  • Capability to provide timely, accurate and relevant project and portfolio reporting as agreed
  • Ability to manage a range of projects types and complex business initiatives and change programs
  • Experience in change managementb
  • Develop and mentor team member(s) to achieve divisional objectives
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff, make  recommendations to supervisor and implement actions, such as promotions and dismissals
  • Provide feedback to GH to work with HR team to create the succession plan for the function/ organization and attract, motivate and retain top talent to ensure alignment with the plan
  • Serve as a company representative for external related functions
