The Role:

Develop and carry out the strategic online marketing plans for companies and organizations that do business on the Web. As such, the need to stay current with the online marketing environment and adapt their strategy to best serve the interests of their organization and to keep pace with the competition in their field.

 

Optimizing the look and feel and content to ensure both search engine visibility and favorable user experience and maintaining the eCommerce platform and easing the customer purchase journey.

 

Driving online sales by setting up marketing plan and communication plan. Execute campaigns for new product launches and creative campaigns.

Heavily involved with Ooredoo website, particularly advertising and content elements. In addition to collaborating with content developers, businesses and customers. They generally oversee ecommerce platform and Social media platform shops or 3rd party application shops

 

Provide new developments in the e-marketing world to maximize search engine traffic and the effect of the company’s targeted ad buys. In addition to the development of Progressive Web Applications to serve specific promotions while integrated with Digital Marketing campaign to drive conversion.

 

Owning the Social media shop catalogue of products and services and manages the API integration and changes within social media shops whilst maintaining a high standard fulfilment process and end to end journey implication.

 

Key Accountabilities and Activities:
  • Responsible for determining the format and features of the website in order to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers. They will liaise with the Web designers to develop and alter the website as needed.

  • Work closely with team to optimize the look and feel and content to ensure both search engine visibility and favorable user experience.

  • Maintain the eCommerce Platform and suggest the enhancements required to ease up the customer purchase journey

  • Direct ownership of the eCommerce platform fulfilling both B2B and B2C businesses

  • Work to improve the API catalogue availability to automate and reduce human interaction within the eCommerce platform fulfilment journey

  • Manage the delivery courier integration and performance

  • Drive changes on weekly, monthly and quarterly bases with Prepaid, Postpaid and Digital Services teams in B2B and B2C segment

  • Implement Multistore front eCommerce platform to serve Smart shops and eShop front ends

  • Keep abreast of new developments in the e-marketing world. They will also research the company’s core demographics and how to best reach them, in order to maximize search engine traffic and the effect of the company’s targeted ad buys.

  • Innovation in introducing new payment methods using global standards

  • Development of Progressive Web Applications to serve specific promotions while integrated with Digital Marketing campaign to drive conversion

  • Implement remarketing and retargeting capabilities with Facebook Pixel and Google remarketing features

  • Develop 3rd Party application integration API to serve customers in local and international 3rd party applications Owns Social media shop catalogue of products and services such as (Facebook Shop, Instagram Shopping, Whatsapp Shop, Snapchat Shop)

  • Manages the API integration and changes within

  • social media shops

  • Maintain high standard fulfilment process and end to end journey implication

  • Enable Agent assisted sales via social media direct messaging integration Meeting internal customer expectations by recommending changes to product or services and websites.

  • Administering and supervising web merchandising team to accomplish the company target.

  • Developing strategies to make recommendations for best investment tactics for each department.

  • Providing support for strategy development and sales performances.

  • Stay on top of developments in online marketing, identify new online marketing opportunities and trends.

  • Ability to read and understand Facebook Ads performance and Google Ads performance and recommend switching budget between campaigns for more effective sales

  • Recommend best offers that suites Kuwait digitally powered customers to have best offers online Track, evaluate and report on all marketing initiatives with the goal of growing the number visits, improving conversion rates, increasing average order value and optimizing spend efficiency.

  • Forecast the sales on monthly basis

  • Owns the Forecast of devices and SIMs to reduce stock related problems

  • Cost of delivery optimization model with delivery courier

  • Manage eCommerce related complaints and improve performance

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or Relevant Field
Other Information:
       
    • Required 6-8 years of experience based on progression ladder in a similar environment (Telecom Industry)

    • 4+ years’ experience in Online Channels

    • 4+ years’ experience in eCommerce Platform and Management

    • 4+ years of experience in implementing Social Media Shop capabilities

    • Managing people

    • Attribution and tagging experience in telecom online industry

    • Communication skills (including ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written communication; understand and follow written and oral instructions)

    • Advance Documentation Skills Demonstrated knowledge in the following required:

    • Excellent communication and writing skills, including spelling, grammar, punctuation as well as composition, editing and proofing

    • Adept at social media platforms and online content management systems

    • Proficiency in website design and website maintenance, both on a daily level and for larger website-related projects

    • Understanding of HTML, CSS etc., as needed

    • Expertise in design, graphics and layout related to websites

    • Possess web writing and design skills

    • Experience generating non-text content such as photographs for the web

    • Proficiency in eCommerce Platform (Nop Commerce) is a must

    • Having worked with Google Marketing is a must

    • Having worked with Facebook Pixels and Marketing API is a must

    • Advanced knowledge in Digital Marketing

    • Expert level knowledge required in Digital Funnels, and Digital Acquisition.
