Support and assist in implementing the day-to-day running of sponsorship programmes within the Ooredoo sponsorship portfolio in conjunction with a cross-functional, integrated marketing communications PR branding team, in line with the Sponsorship strategy.

• Assist to organize and host press conferences ensuring arrangements are finalized on time, copies of releases are available in sufficient quantities and all supporting infrastructure requirements are in place.

• Collate and analyze media coverage by reviewing daily print media to identify articles of general interest, to the Ooredoo Telecom.

• Refer copies of relevant media articles to Directors to keep them informed Ooredoo Telecom media exposure and highlight matters of general industry interest.

• Assist the Manager in his role of developing avenues of access to the media and key figures in the public and private sector in order to promote an understanding and appreciation of Ooredoo Telecom objectives, capabilities and accomplishments.

• Answer enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations, via telephone and email as directed.

• Assist to devise and coordinate photo opportunities.

• Research, write and distribute press releases to targeted media under supervision.

• Commission market research as directed.

• Maintain and update information on the Ooredoo Telecom's website.

• Write and edit in-house magazines, case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports under supervision.

• Stay informed of major personal events to enable the Ooredoo Telecom to recognize and respond to these milestones in the appropriate manner.

• Assess all incoming correspondence, determine the nature and refer to the most appropriate source for response, ensuring all responses are channeled through Public Relations prior to dispatch in order to check for consistency and accuracy.

• Assist with sourcing corporate promotional gift items from overseas suppliers and ensures their conformity with the desired image and culture.

• Place approved orders for preferred products and suppliers and, ensuring timely delivery.

• Proactively take responsibility for self improvement by staying well-informed of developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise.

• Other duties as directed by supervisor or other superiors.

•   Bachelor degree in a business related, science or social science discipline. with appropriate registration with a recognized professional institute

• Required years of experience based on progression ladder, relevant experience based on public relations experience in the private sector.

• Fluent verbal and written communication in both Arabic and English.

• Ability to relate to people at all levels confidently.

• Excellent presentation skills
