Role Purpose:

This role is responsible for the management of B2B business enhancement and development to build new markets for mobile and fixed service with partners and alliances. The Senior Manager will play a critical independent role in driving Ooredoo’s entry into new lines of business and large revenue streams adjacent to Ooredoo’s core mobile and fixed business.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Businesses from different verticals to design and develop the strategic direction of the business.

  • Build partnerships and alliances with customers and vendors to create new revenue streams with the right business model utilizing Ooredoo/FT products and services portfolio

  • Engage in special projects including: new partner or business idea evaluation, financial analysis of business plans, and establishing new processes for the business

  • Prepare the framework for the operating processes to be undertaken by the partners when engaging with Ooredoo’s products and services.  Ensure rules of engagement are clearly defined and approved by Legal and other appropriate internal departments.  Oversee the preparation of the contracts and agreements that the partners will be required to enter into with Ooredoo.

  • Consult with partners/customers to identify business needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate the value of Ooredoo products and services.

  • Manage the partners to ensure that Ooredoo requirements are identified and are translated into business proposals which will ultimately provide the appropriate solutions.

  • Assist and guide the partner  to develop and present proposals for customer solutions, utilising, where necessary and appropriate, the expertise within Ooredoo in order to ensure that the solutions designed and proposed will meet the partner requirements.

  • Undertake regular on the job training to ensure that direct reports have the necessary skills to undertake new or existing responsibilities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • 10+ years management experience with proven track record in Channel Management or Corporate telecom/technology sales.

  • Proven business sense

  • Fluent verbal/written communication in both Arabic and English.

  • Leadership and coaching skills.

  • Ability to operate in a diverse multicultural, multinational work environment, exhibiting appropriate sensitivities.

  • Ability to lead team and deliver under demanding timetable

    Bachelor degree in business, engineering or a related discipline from a recognised tertiary institution desirable.

  • MS Office

  • Strong PC literacy
