As the Section Head- Commercial Control you will be responsible of providing partnering to consumer, B2B wholesale marketing team from finance in reviewing business cases for products, promotions roaming agreements and connecting new customers, validating business cases relating strategic initiatives and investments and providing feedback and suggest alternatives to maximise the profitability.

Core Responsibilities:

You will responsible of ensuring business cases prepared by consumer, B2B and wholesale marketing teams for products, promotion are reviewed and feedback provided on timely basis, reviewing business cases prepared by B2B team in connecting new customers, reviewing business cases relating to roaming agreements, reviewing business cases relating to strategic initiatives and investments, developing ad-hoc business cases as and when required, participating in quarterly IT prioritisation with respect to business cases and products, posting implementation review of selected business cases for their performance, ensuring commercial PRs are challenged and approved after ensuring the budget availability and alignment with approved business cases, ensuring other finance functions are involved promptly whenever any business cases need their involvement especially Accounting and RA team, assisting Department Head- Business Control with ad-hoc analysis on revenue and cost of sales,  assisting the Department Head- Business Control on AOP and BP process on ad-hoc basis, responding to various queries from other departments promptly and accurately, managing, motivating and appraising all staff directly reporting to the role holder, and ensuring that all other staff within the Unit are similarly managed  , in order to promote the highest level of performance, ensuring that all staff training needs are identified and that training is provided in line with those requirements, holding regular meetings with the team  to monitor and ensure there is continuous momentum to deliver against the operational requirements,  targets  and KPI’s  as well as to monitor delivery of quality of service and contributing to the overall finance business planning process and inputs into the AOP development for the finance function.  

The Person:

You should have a minimum of  8 years’ experience with minimum of 4 years in a senior financial analysis role, must have experience relevant to the scope of this role  In depth knowledge of financial modelling  and undertaking business reviews and analysis with a bachelor degree in finance, member of ACCA, CIMA or any similar body is a plus.
