As the Senior Manager- International Roaming you will be responsible of enabling the provision of cost effective and profitable roaming services for customers through establishing and maintaining successful partnerships around the world with other operators. 

Core Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of formulating the international roaming (wholesale) business strategy to meet current and future needs for international roaming, translating the strategy into AOP and managing their implementation, seeking out new and innovative revenue opportunities for the wholesale roaming business, achieving all revenue targets according to the business plan, sustaining existing and grow roaming revenues in line with business expectations, identifying potential roaming partners and negotiating preferred roaming deals  with them to ensure ooredoo has the best possible opportunities for its customers, managing the relationship with preferred operators, securing and coordinating service launches to secure best possible customer experience, negotiating with prospective 3rd party that ooredoo avails services of for competitive rates and service, coordination with ooredoo group on roaming deals and new projects to gain advantage from group buying power, undertaking analysis for potential roaming discount agreements and coordination with finance for relevant approvals, reporting and traffic analysis to management of roaming, renegotiation with service providers to reduce roaming administrative cost, close coordination with internal stakeholders and outsourcing partners to ensure that roaming services are implemented to industry best practice standards, representing ooredoo at group level, regional GCC roaming meetings and GSMA events, Preferred roaming agreements: Outbound roaming cost reduction and optimise inbound roaming revenue and traffic, leading, managing, motivating, coaching and developing roaming coordinator own team members to ensure the highest level of performance at all times and in delivery of  the daily tasks, providing on job training to roaming coordinator, ensuring staff have in place performance management plans, are regularly and fairly appraised and provided with training opportunities to enable growth and supervising roaming departments operations, agreement signing, test schedules.

The Person:

You should have a minimum of 8 years telecom experience in roaming, proven and demonstrable experience of managing and negotiating roaming agreements, fluent written and spoken english and arabic, MS Office proficiency, ability to interact with cross functional teams, excellent understanding of roaming, billing and technical requirements for wireless networks, knowledge of C7 signalling, knowledge of TAP, TADIG and IREG and experience in people management  with bachelor degree.
