As the Department Head - B2B Indirect And Business in Retail you will be leading the Ooredoo team managing the Indirect and BiR channels serving the SME and SOHO B2B customer segment, directing and overseeing B2B Indirect & BiR channel sales performance, policies, objectives, and initiatives, setting short- and long-term channel sales strategies and evaluates effectiveness of current programs and recommending product or service enhancements to improve SME and SOHO B2B customer satisfaction and sales revenue. 

Core Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of monitoring both the revenue performance to target of the Indirect and BiR channels, providing support to the channel management team to define quarterly initiatives to accomplish revenue targets, monitoring the Indirect partner input KPIs e.g. number of salesforce, number of daily visits, and manage the partners to achieve these KPIs, monitoring the BiR input KPIs e.g. number of BiR enabled stores, number of B2B trained Salesforce, quarterly SOHO initiatives, monitoring salesmen rotation rate, and provide a clear view of sales force status, ensuring the indirect partners sales professionals are following Ooredoo Oman sales process and guidelines for managing opportunities, monthly meeting with counterparts with partner organisation, monthly reporting on sales output KPI’s within channel partners, working to sales and revenue targets, recruiting indirect partners and maintaining a pool of pre-selected potential candidates, setting up new channel partners and overseeing the on-boarding process, providing support to the BiR manager and oversee the execution of business counters and sections in Ooredoo stores, providing support to the channel commercial manager to implement the business sales performance measures and performance management for business in retail, champion the role of Indirect and BiR channels to execute the revenue opportunities in SME and SOHO, working closely with sales teams within the indirect channel partner to motivate, train and advise, giving feedback to the B2B marketing team on the success of sales promotions, escalating customer service issues as raised by the channel partner, managing, coaching and motivating the channel team to ensure the highest level of performance across the Indirect and BiR channels, ensuring all staff have in place performance contracts, are appraised regularly and accurately and provided with constructive feedback and opportunities for development and delegating effectively to provide opportunity for growth.

The Person:
You should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or channel background  with a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, IT or science.
